Here's another easy cake idea using our powders.
This is an easy victorian vanilla sponge cake (base only) with our Vegan Berry Latte mix and fresh garden raspberries!
Follow any recipe for victorian vanilla sponge cake and add 2 teaspoons of Wellness Lab Berry Latte to the bowl and stir until smooth.
Bake as per your recipe or approx 15 mins in the over on gas mark 4.
Then take it out before it's fully baked and leave to cool for half an hour.
Sprinkle with a little desiccated coconut, then put it back into the over for another 10 mins. This time bake until its complete and a nice crust has formed. It should look more like a loaf of bread than a soft sponge cake.
Take it out and allow to cool, then sprinkle with more desiccated coconut and fresh garden raspberries! Now you're ready to roll!
We've ditched the traditional sugary cream layer and added our own twist to it by serving it with fresh raspberries, add natural yoghurt if you miss the cream layer though!
